It can be very difficult to "make it" in the music industry today, and artists often come out on top, making the public wonder who really is signing groups and running record labels. With CitizenGroove, any musician can utilize its features - whether they're hoping to make it big or simply pursuing a beloved hobby. The site, like most other social networking and music promotion sites, is free to use as well. A public version of the site has recently been launched, allowing for this opportune feature. In the future, Plotkin said, "We're partnering with some of the top music institutions in the country to license more premium features to the school to provide to their students, administration, and alumni."

Many of the best business ventures are sparked by simple ideas. This team of entrepreneurs could potentially find a considerable outlet with these ideas, opening doors for musicians to become even more efficient in their field. Those interested in sharing music can go to www.citizengroove.com and see the site for themselves.
