The event has been much anticipated and today, Relay For Life 2009 will make its way to North side. Relay For Life is an overnight event that fundraises for the fight against cancer and is a growing support for cancer research. Throughout the entire event, there will be enough theme laps, activities, games, and performances to guarantee a fabulous day. Different organizations, student groups, and even Greek Life will be holding fundraisers throughout the event, and any participation is a great way to show support for these organizations.

Last year, the event raised double the amount they had hoped to. Why not make it triple this year? Put on your tracksuit, grab your friends, and make your way to Relay For Life to support the event's honorable cause. Time: Friday, 6 p.m. to Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Cost: Free, though donations are accepted. Location: North Residential Village Stadium. Info:
