Editorial: Three times (not) a charm

One bank robbery in a single week is frightening. Three in a week is obscene. We're certainly glad that none were physically injured, but, like so many other students at Case Western Reserve University, we questioned why the banks in University Circle didn't immediately step up their security in the wake of the first robbery, or even the second.

On Tuesday, some will head to the polls for that American blood sport, national politics. I encourage you to go with them. There are two very good reasons to vote this year. First, as hard as it is to believe, midterm elections are even more important than midterm tests.

It doesn't take long to figure out I love summertime. Baseball, beaches, and overall warm weather serve as reminders of how beautiful the Cleveland area can be. Even going to work isenjoyable when the sun shines through the windows of an air conditioned shop.
