Volleyball moves to 17-3 with Wooster win

Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Suchy and middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH) had 18 and 17 kills, respectively, as the Spartans defeated Wooster 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 27, 25, 25-23) on the road. The Spartans defeated Ohio Wesleyan University 3-1 earlier in the day at Wooster.

Last week, the Spartans walked away from the College of Wooster's home field with heads high, dominating their first major challenge that just so happened to mark the halfway point of the regular season.

Men's soccer ties NYU

The men's soccer team tied New York University, 1-1, in Staten Island, NY. The Spartans are now 6-4-3 overall and 0-1-1 in University Athletic Association play, while NYU moves to 4-6-1 and 0-1-1 in the UAA. The Violets struck first at the 10:44 mark when Ronnie Scardino put home his first goal of the season.
