The students from the Michael R. White School were expecting to partake in science experiments when they arrived on campus this past Friday. Instead, they got to release a lot of energy and meet Case students during the 3rd Annual Sports Clinic, which is held every year during Case for Community Day.

This past weekend, the Spartans faced off against regionally-ranked Ohio Northern University. It wasn't just an important game because of the state rivalry, however: the Spartans decided to designate the home game as a charity fund-raising event. Appropriately titled "Kicks for a Cause," the fundraiser benefits and lends support to the Alzheimer's Association in the Cleveland area.

Coming off a Great Lakes All-Region selection last year, senior cross country runner Elaine Simpson has already posted two victories for the Spartans this season. The Arlington Heights, Ill. native is majoring in biology with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian.
