Editorial: Grant selection process needs refinement

Case Western Reserve University undergraduates are notorious for their dissatisfaction with the university and their ability to complain about anything, a talent that consistently frustrates student leaders. Last year, the Undergraduate Student Government offered campus community members an opportunity to step up and take the situation into their own hands by applying for the $15,000 Student Life Improvement Grant. Good night's sleep brings health, success

Sleep fits into the college lifestyle about as well as a Steelers fan fits into Cleveland society; it doesn't. We all know the importance of sleep, yet when we must choose between studying, going to class, working, playing that new video game, or trying the latest fad involving Jell-O and some body part, sleep tends to be the first thing we push aside. Chimp mauling, octomom clog Congressional operations

As you may have read or seen in the news recently, a 200-pound chimpanzee named Travis mauled a woman in Connecticut on Feb. 16. While this gruesome bit of news made for several sensational headlines and distracted us from "octomom" briefly, there was one group of Americans who became particularly involved with the story: Congress.
