Editorial: Sculpture collection needs better presentation

Students at Case Western Reserve University have made a hobby of coming up with amusing names for the many abstract statues located across campus. Almost any student can point a visitor toward the ugly helicopter statue, the wet/dry fountain, or the titanic and iceberg. (0) comments

This just in: plug-in hybrids found responsible for recent West Coast wildfires. I'm just being playful; the West Coast may be especially environmentally conscious, but I cannot blame the droves of hybrids for what is really just the beginning of wildfire season. (0) comments

Country visit results in different view of British

I always thought I would be a city person. The constant action, the fast-paced lifestyle, the days that fly into minutes, and the perpetual feeling of having to be somewhere at a certain time have always seemed alluring. However, after two weeks of spending long hours in the city only to face a long commute on a Worcestershire sauce-stained bus seat, a little escape was most welcome. (0) comments

Either candidate has chance to win in November election

In the wake of the debates, many are asking if the GOP has a chance this November. The answer is unequivocally yes. The CNN electoral map shows Obama ahead of McCain with 264 presumptive electoral votes to McCain's 174. This leaves 100 electoral votes up for grabs in states that haven't completely swung for either candidate. (0) comments
