Last Saturday evening, students turned off their electronics and bedroom lights and headed down to Adelbert Gym to celebrate sustainable green living. Student Sustainability Council's first-ever Eco-Party featured traditional games for students, such as cornhole, but also featured a "Red Light, Green Light" game where students who practiced green behaviors could earn more "eco points" than students who practiced environmentally unfriendly behaviors such as leaving lights on when leaving the house. Students could use their eco points to enter into a raffle to win prizes that included an iPod shuffle and the grand prize of the night, a new bike. In the end, senior Sarah Robinson walked away with a brand new bike, but dozens of students walked away with valuable information about greener living.
