Football Gameday: Case vs. Carnegie Mellon

Last week may have been a tough (and windy) one to watch for Spartan fans who traveled to Chicago to watch the game, where the score remained extremely close upon entering the fourth quarter. There was, in reality, nothing to fear, as the offense stepped up and put up 14 points while the defense locked down and allowed a mere three points in the fourth quarter, making the final score to 38-24, with the well-deserved victory going to the Spartans.

Ground game carries Spartans to 8-0

Week in and week out, the Spartans have found a way to win. There have been blowouts and games that came down to the fourth quarter, but a common trend through it all is that the team has had key players make big plays at critical moments. The opponent this week was conference rival, the University of Chicago.
