With a trip to the NCAA cross country championships on the line, the women's and men's teams competed in the Great Lakes regional. In the end, the women's team finished second, automatically qualifying for the national championships for the third straight year, while the men's team finished in fifth and had to wait to find out whether they would be going for the first time since 2003.

Despite several impressive individual wins, the Spartans wrestled to a 29-15 loss Tuesday night at home against John Carroll University. Freshman Isaac Dukes continued his great start to the season by winning 16-6 in the 157-pound weight class. Dukes overmatched his opponent with strength early, but outlasted him with stamina in the end, as he maintained control and piled on several points late.
The Case swim team had an exciting meet this past weekend, participating in the Veale Classic. The meet is set up in a duels format, meaning that there are four different teams competing against each other in order to make it to the championship. The teams that swam this weekend, in addition to Case, were the College of Wooster, Oberlin College, and John Carroll University.

They did it. For the second-straight season, Case went undefeated during the regular season. This last victory came against long-time UAA powerhouse Washington University in St. Louis on their field. Going into the game, the Spartans were 9-0 with everything on the line.
Selection Sunday is usually a term synonymous with the beginning of the college basketball championship tournament in the beginning of March. This past Sunday marked another selection: the selection of the 32-team Div. III football championship bracket. For the second year in a row, the Spartan football team found themselves in the center of the controversy of who goes where and which team is seeded what.
